Crate & Barrel and My Splendid Living collaborated on this adorable Thanksgiving Kid's Table. When Crate & Barrel reached out to me with this idea, I was so excited to photograph something different for the holiday. Having my 6 year old niece, Maddison be in the photoshoot make these photographs extra special to me. Maddison is extremely imaginative, kind hearted, and fun. She loves to draw, so having her color Crate & Barrel's Thanksgiving Place mats kept her busy while I ran around with my camera. To find out more about this story, head over Crate & Barrel's blog for all the details, "Squeekies" Mac & Cheese, and Kid's Thanksgiving Fruit Punch Recipes.
I made these fun Paper Pumpkins for the Centerpiece and encourage the kids to color them too! I added straw and crayons to Crate & Barrel's Carley Clear glasses for a festive touch.
Maddison loved the Homemade Turkey Paper Crown!
My mom used a cursif font for the names of the kids and then printed them on green paper, then I cut the green paper into pumpkin leaves; using as name tags for each place setting.
Each pumpkin is assembled with green and brown pipe cleaners.
Crate & Barrel's Thanksgiving Place Mats were a hit during the photoshoot! Also I found this "Give Thanks" sign from A Banner Affair on Etsy!
I added a fruit garnish of apple, banana, and orange slices to each glass of juice.
We call this juice "Kid's Fruit Punch" but it's really a delicious "Cranberry Cider" that can also be served to adults.
Mac & Cheese are famously named "Squeekies" among my family! My dad named them this because they squeak in your mouth with every bite.
