If you love chips and salsa like me, this recipe is for you! For some, like me, getting bikini ready can be challenging. I've decided to try out some healthy snack replacements for my usual snacking routine. I love this Spicy Kale Chip Recipe, I found on Martha Stewart's website. You can also watch her step by step video, link below. Enjoy!
Spicy Kale Chip Recipe:
2 large Kale bundles
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
5 Tsp Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
Turn oven on to 300 degrees to Bake.
Mix the Olive oil and Sriracha in a bowl and set aside.
Clean and strip Kale into chip like pieces and throw away the center vein.
Place Kale in a baking dish and with your hands toss the olive oil mixture into the kale.
Lightly salt the Kale and put into your oven for 30-35 minutes.
Every 10 minutes toss the Kale to allow crisping of all edges.
When the time is up, let the Kale cool down on a paper towel to absorb any left over olive oil.
Store in plastic bag. They are good up to 3 days.
1. If some Kale pieces seem a little soggy just pop them back in the oven for another 10 minutes or more.
2. Make sure you don't over salt you can always add salt but can't get rid of it after.
3. If you don't want to buy Sriracha, replace it with Ceyenne pepper, Tumeric, or other spices to give it a burst of flavor.
